LIVING CULTURE
"CULTURE is in everything and in everything there is culture." This essential part of Delta Xi Nu is present in everything Delta Xi Nu sisters do. Through our events and involvement Delta Xi Nu sisters help create an environment where people can share and become aware of the unique attributes that enrich the human experience. When joining Delta Xi Nu each sister brings with them their own experience and background which gives each sister the opportunity to infuse their passions into the activities and attitudes keeping the sorority fresh, new and ever evolving.
CULTURAL EVENTS:
Rosh Hashanah 2015 - Apples & Honeys
Rosh Hashanah, which celebrates the Jewish New Year, calls for dipping apples into honey, a practice rich in symbolism. According to Chabad, combining an apple with honey is meant to call forth a sweet new year, while the apple itself is meant to recall the Garden of Eden. This year Rosh Hashanah was celebrated on September 13 - 16.
